This policy explains how this website uses cookies, what each one does, and how you can choose which ones you allow. The website is run by Two Roads Ltd (we, us or our).
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit it. They let the website remember things, such as the choices you’ve made, or recognise your device when you come back. For simplicity, this policy calls them all cookies, but it also covers similar technologies, such as information stored in your browser by scripts.
How we use cookies
The law allows us to use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work, or to provide something you’ve asked for, without asking first. For every other kind of cookie, we need your permission.
We use two kinds of cookies:
- Necessary cookies, which remember the choices you make in our cookie banner. These are always on.
- Statistics cookies, from Google Analytics, which tell us how people use the website so we can improve it. These are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner.
We don’t use cookies for advertising, and we don’t use cookies to track you across other websites.
The cookies we use
Necessary cookies
These remember whether you’ve accepted or refused cookies, so we don’t ask you on every page, and so the website respects your choice.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_banner-status | This website | Remembers whether you’ve dismissed the cookie banner | 365 days |
| cmplz_policy_id | This website | Records which version of this policy you made your choice under, so we can ask again if it changes | 365 days |
| cmplz_consented_services | This website | Remembers which individual services you’ve allowed | 365 days |
| cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing | This website | Remember whether you’ve allowed each category of cookie | 365 days |
Statistics cookies
These are only set if you accept statistics cookies. They let Google Analytics count visits, see which pages are used and how people find the website. Google Analytics doesn’t tell us who you are.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another, so visits can be counted | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
Google Analytics is provided by Google, which may process the information outside the UK, including in the United States. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on every website you visit.
Changing your choices
You can change your mind at any time. Use the options below, or the Manage consent button, to change which cookies you allow:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block necessary cookies, the website will still work, but it will ask about cookies on every visit. The Information Commissioner’s Office has guidance on cookies and how to control them.
Other websites
The website links to other websites. If you follow a link, the other website may set its own cookies, which are covered by its own cookie policy, not this one.
Your personal information
Some cookies, such as Google Analytics’ identifier, may count as personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and your rights over it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy if the cookies we use change. If the change affects what you’ve agreed to, the cookie banner will ask you again.
